It’s Never Too Late

It is never too late.

It is never too late to start something new, to learn something new, to take a new risk, to embark on a new journey or to discover something new. We owe it to ourselves to keep on growing and learning. And we owe it to the people around us, too. It makes us come alive again.

As we move into new territories, we discover more of ourselves on the journey. We see the mundane things in a new light, and we find new possibilities opening up because of that. We rediscover new joys in normal things and suddenly more dimensions to life appear.

And the joy, oh the joy of not getting stuck or becoming blunt!

Who would have thought that at the age of 54 it would be possible for me to start painting! And who would have thought that at the age of 61 it would be possible to launch a website?

Thank you to my husband for encouraging and nudging me on. Thank you for believing in me and supporting me all the way. Thank you for my kids who are so excited with me and cheering me on. And my friends for being there. Thank you, Matt Tommey for being such a timely inspiration to me. And above all, thank You, God for giving me the pleasure of creativity. May You be glorified in and through it.

I want to encourage everyone with this thought: Don’t stay at the “what ifs. Don’t get stuck in regrets. Find something that is interesting and do it! Don’t underestimate small beginnings. Start small but keep on moving. Live forward. Create amazing memories along the way.

There is always hope. Keep on moving. It is never too late.
